I work at Lumagate AB in Sweden and our main focus is System Management tools.
My focus areas are the Microsoft Virtualization solutions but i also do design and implementation with VMware solutions.
I am certified as a MCSE: Private Cloud, Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Virtualization Technology Specialist and as a VMware vSphere VCP/VCI 5. Also i am a MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) and a CNI (Certified Novell Instructor)
My latest award was the VMware vExpert 2012.
Hi there, I have installed Hyper V Server 2012 on bare metal and configured the server as prescribed. My problem is that although the Hyper V server is joined to the domain, I cannot see the Hyper V machine on the network – i can ping both the name and the IP number but cannot access the c drive from my Windows 7 machine.
The domain is running Windows 2008 R2 Server.
@Carlson Lombard You will have to look at the firewall rules on the 2012 hyper-v server i think, can you connect to it with the Hyper-V manager and create VM´s ?
